This is for when you want to take your calls live or be notified of voicemail messages. It's like the "call forwarding" option from your regular telephone company. And O happy day, unlike many virtual office unified messaging services, we can handle as many “call forwarding” numbers as needed to track you down quickly, wherever you are, so you'll never miss a call.

  • Set the system to ring the number(s) of your choice, and the number of rings of your choice, at the hours and days of your choice (example: 8a-5p M-F).

  • When the system finds you it can tell you who’s calling (see Call Screener). You can accept the call by pressing a key. If you don’t, the caller will be directed to leave a message in your voicemail while the system has also captured their phone number with Caller ID.

  • New! When a call is announced, you can send the caller to yet another 10-digit phone number. Why would you do that? Example: The call reaches you on your cellphone as you enter your home and you don’t want to use your cellphone minutes, heh-heh.
     

Set the system to ask callers for their name, and presto: you’ve got a virtual office assistant as your buffer. The system rings you at your call forwarded number, tells you that you have a call from your FreedomVOICE system, and tells you who’s calling. You can press any key to accept the call, or do nothing. If you don’t accept the call, the caller never knew you were there and is directed to leave a voicemail message, which you retrieve later. Meanwhile the system has captured the caller’s number with Caller ID.
